I have two seperate WP sites. Site1 displays general company info, and Site2 is a ecommerce site using woocommece. Since yesterday I noticed that Site2 did not allow me to log in to the dashboard using IE, keep on showing ERROR: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress. Besides, the shopping cart did not update after successfully adding products to the cart. These problems only happened in IE, all other browsers worked fine. I asked other people to test the function using there computers, the same problems happened only in IE. We all have enabled cookies in IE, and the webpages are displayed with no problems.

I have tried disabling all plugins and using the default theme, but still have the same problems. We even re-installed WP completely for site2…Have tried all the solutions provided online, but still with no luck.

It is very weird since we all have no problem log in to site1 with IE and are able to update the shopping cart successfully.

The url of site1 is: staging.example.com/wordpress The url of site2 is: staging_eshop.example.com/wordpress

The two sites do not share database and wordpress files, only being hosted on the same web server.

Given that not only myself have problems logging in the admin page in IE, and all other browsers worked fine, and even all other WP site worked fine in IE, the problem seems only associated with site2 itself.

Is there something wrong with the domain name? Or is it possible that the cookies for site2 were completely filter out by the host?
