Hi everyone, I have moved a WordPress website from localhost to a live server and the site works fine, except I can’t access the admin dashboard. When I go to www. mysite .com/wp-admin I get the login form but when I type in my login credentials I get a white screen on Firefox or a HTTP error 500 on Chrome. After that, when I go to the website, I see the WordPress toolbar on top but when I click on Dashboard I just get the same white screen (HTTP error 500). I used a duplicator plugin for migration. I am new to WordPress and I would greatly appreciate it if someone could please help me.

  • Which plugin? Is it Duplicator? If so, this is an excellent plugin and I use it all the time.

    Can you post your URL?

Bro same problem here for past 5 days. I am very must frustrated. But I can suggest you do something. Clear all the cache and cookies of your browser or try in incognito mode.

I managed to solve the problem by deleting the database and WordPress files from hosting and reuploading them, but this time I didn’t use the Duplicator plugin, I just did everything myself. Everything works fine now. I don’t know what the problem was but it’s fixed. Thanks for your replies Keith and sarfrazk9.
