WordPress Address & Site Address

  • Hi, I need help with my WP site please.

    We have WP installed on a server with WordPress Address = IP 197.189.244.250. We have rename die Site Address to https://www.mysite.com.

    The problem we are experiencing is that when we are using a plugin that allows the user to upload images from the frontend, it doesn’t work. It allows those images to be uploaded and are being displayed correctly when doing this from admin panel but not vice versa. So IP can write to site address but not other way around.

    It there a solution for this? How can it be fixed?

  • You shouldn’t enter an IP address for the WordPress Address. You should enter the actual address at which people can access your website.
