WordPress adding / to html code

  • Hi,

    When I’m trying to edit the html in the text editor WordPress is throwing some added code in with the code I’m using causing some validation errors. Here’s the main page I’m having trouble with:

    hauntedrooms.co.uk/haunted-places-to-visit

    If you check the W3C validator you will notice the first error and the majority of the other 80+ errors contain the \ within the code as an example <h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">By Country</h2>

    Has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it? Thanks.

    PS. You will see the page layout is really messed up, I’m presuming that it’s the errors wordpress is spewing out?
