    This may be posted in another area of the forums, but I haven’t been able to find it, so I apologize before hand if this is answered elsewhere.

    I’m using WordPress 3.0, and I noticed that my posts (such as titles, or even the body messages of the posts), along with any editing that I do in the ‘editor’ feature of the Appearance or Plugin menu are adding single quotes to everything that had a single quote. For example.

    New post title: You’re pitching Tuesday

    When I save this post, it changes the title to…
    You”re pitching Tuesday

    If I save it once more, it changes it the title to…
    You”’re pitching Tuesday

    I’m SURE there is something wrong with my php.ini, or something in WordPress doing it, but I’m not 100% sure where. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

    I believe I’ve found it. It’s the option…

    magic_quotes_gpc = ‘Off’

    in php.ini. It appears that turning this to ‘Off’ is the setting that fixes this. If anybody else has any other ways to do it without this option, please let me know.
