wordpress acting crazy and inconsistant.

Just wondering if any other wordpress users have problems while editing posts the environment becomes very unstable. I am adding some photos to article then whammo its like there is nothing you can do to get it to add another photo. It will show the photo on the editing screen but when you publish article or view post it will not be there. I have been having to copy all the text in the article and trash it and start over by adding photos, then putting text back in. I have done the present article like 3 times now, What to heck is wrong with this. showing some pictures and not others, making it very hard to align things and get them arrange the way you would like. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for the help.
