WordPress acting abnormally

  • Hi,
    We are experiencing some issues with our server to where it is going out to the internet and accessing websites its not supposed to or it is? Some of the sites are other wordpress sites, mainly the admin side. Some of the other sites are a little questionable. Is there some place that i can look to see why it is doing this?
    It will sit for about 3-5 days before it starts to do this, then we reboot it and it stops for 3-5 days and sometimes it waits a few weeks before it does it again.

  • 2.0.4 is vulnerable to hacking if you must stay with the 2.0 branch then 2.0.11 is the latest. Otherwise 2.5 will be out soon and you should upgrade as soon as possible.

    Ah ok. How hard is it to upgrade WordPress when we have MAMP running it? MAMP is way out of date and from what I read, it’s not going to be pretty to update it.
    But anyways, thanks for the help!
