WordPress account dissapears

I am creating a local-host wordpress website, so I can test any changes for the main websites.
I follow this guide and I do everything the same https://youtu.be/wZiuMb02o2I
But when I export my website files on my local hosted website (14:00 on a video)
It says that I need update wordpress system, once I click update I get sent to a log in screen where I can’t log in with my just created account. It’s like it was never there.
I created 2 local hosted accounts and both of them disappeared, so it’s not like I forgot my password.
Is there a way I can fix this issue?
If not, is there a way, I can edit my website not on a live server?
