• Hello,

Upon updating multiple sites to version 6.4 both standard WordPress blogs and WooCommerce based WordPress Websites we are receiving the following issues across all websites.

Disabling themes, plugins, installing default wordpress 6.4 version under PHP 8.2, these errors continue. All websites still running under WordPress 6.3 do not have these issues.

    • Warning: Unknown: [ext-deprecate]:10403 10241 70433 hash_hmac hash_equals in Unknown on line 0
    • Warning: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.remarpro.com. Please contact your server administrator.)

The second error occurs trying to re-install WordPress 6.4, this was tested in the hopes that maybe due to the constent timeouts that a file(s) may have been corrupted, however, we simply run into more timeouts, this is happens when trying to update Plugins aswell, these issues do not currently happen under WordPress 6.3

  • +1 for me – however I am only seeing this on two out of three servers.

There appears to be some sort of environmental aspect to it.

Timeouts in 6.4 are present for me on sites hosted via Plesk 18.0.56#4 on Centos 7.9, with ASL security.

They are not present on the same Plesk version on CloudLinux 8.8 with Imunify360.

Any correlations with what you’re seeing?

I can confirm this and with Version 6.4.1 all the above errors has been resolved across all our websites.

    Agreed
