• Hi,

    since WordPress updated to 6.2, the figcaption underneath an image is gone. Why is that?

  • It’s still there, but not open by default if the image doesn’t have one. To add a caption after inserting an image without one, just select the image in the block editor: in the toolbar that pops up, there’s a button to insert a caption.
