    Hi, I have one question.
There is wordpress 5.6 update came. Currently my website has php version 7.0.33 and MySQL version 5.0.91. I want to confirm that can i update the website to wordpress 5.6 with these versions. Or there are some requirements for wordpress 5.6 version to update.

I have talked with hosting company. Right now they are working on upgrading php version.

Please guide me about all above questions.

    Thank you

    Hello @franks123

Thank you for your inquiry and I am happy to answer.
W3 Total Cache is compatible with WP 5.6 as suggested on our plugin page.
However, we are still working on the compatibility with the latest PHP 8 so you should avoid updating to the PHP 8 until WP and W3TC are confirmed compatible.
    Thank you!

Hello according to the JQuery Migrate plugin there is an error: /plugins/w3-total-cache/pub/js/options.js

jQuery.fn.attr (\ ‘checked \’) might use property instead of attribute

Is there an update coming here? Thanks for the support!

    Hello @franks123

I am sorry for the confusion. Possibly my answer was not clear.
Yes, you can update the WP to 5.6 as there are no additional requirements when it comes to W3TC and WP 5.6 compatibility.
It should also work just fine with the mentioned versions of PHP and MySQL. However, for these types of questions, you should ask for more details from your hosting support.

While the deprecated code has been removed, the .attr can still be used without issues.
We are performing tests on this, however, this does not impact the performance of your website or the plugin itself.
We are still working on some updates to resolve this notification.
    Thanks!

    Thank You
