WordPress 5.6 comptability

    Hello

    I made a clone of my website with UpdraftPlus.

    On this clone I updated WordPress from 5.5 to 5.6

    After this update, the Katex renderer gives me the error
    “KaTeX parse error: KaTeX doesn’t work in quirks mode.”
    instead of each math formula.

    May I ask users (and of course the plugin developper) if there are issues concerning WordPress 5.6 and KaTeX?

    Hi,

    This probably is unrelated to the WordPress version. The plugin works for me on versions 5.6 and 5.7.

    Make sure you include a valid document type (<!DOCTYPE html>) in your theme. Also see https://katex.org/docs/issues.html.

    Hi,

    As we say in france: mieux vaut tard que jamais.

    Three months ago, I was reluctant to update WP because of this problem.

    Receiving no answer, I decided to take the risk. And everything was fine.
