    Gallery flashes briefly and then doesn’t display when using WordPress 5.6. When will update for 5.6 compatibility be available?

    For anyone experiencing the disappearing gallery in 5.6, I was able to resolve it by removing this line from js/frontend_script.js:

    $gallery.empty();

    The line was there for a reason, but removing it did not cause any problems for us. Your mileage may vary.
