• This latest version of wordpress 5.6, further complicated the work of users. When a long text is published and you have to insert a link, you have to run the page from top to bottom to get the formatting in the header. When a text is inserted, it is not on the last line, having to scroll to get there. The previous version was much more operational than this.

  • I really hate this new format. I cannot figure out how to create a new post. I cannot figure out how to create tags in an old post. It is totally not user friendly and I don’t know what to do. I’m too invested in WordPress for many years to change now. Can’t I get back to the old format?

@spacenews I don’t think anything has changed in WordPress 5.6 in relation to the formatting on the toolbar, there shouldn’t be a need to scroll. Would it be possible for you to share a screenshot to understand the issue better?

It is difficult for images to explain my displeasure with this new version. But I will try in writing. I usually insert articles with a lot of lines. When I have to insert an image or a link in the middle of the text, I have to come up here to click on the respective icon or button.
The text does not scroll automatically as in previous versions and this means that you always have to scroll up and down the page, which is exhausting for those who have a lot of daily work.
As (pennyinparadise (@pennyinparadise)) reports, is there any way to revert to the previous version? With this I do not understand the problems they cause and the time I have to give more in my articles. Bad update.
