Hello everybody. New WordPress is upon us, and it breaks a lot of plugins and themes across the internet. Despite our efforts, it just might cause problems on your websites, which run the Evolve theme. We are working on fixes right now. We will be ready to roll them out today or tomorrow at the latest, please in the meanwhile DO NOT update to WordPress 5.6 or if you do, make sure (as always) that you have a backup version to roll back to.

    Thank you for your patience.

Thank you! Now I’ve seen that it looks like it was a bit premature to be concerned. Looks like the theme took the new WordPress version fine )) Thanks again!

I am having a similar issue regards the page builder after updating to the latest wp and SO plugin versions.
All the site origin widgets have been replaced with just code in the visual editor. Its like the page builder has not installed properly.
The page builder option is appearing underneath the visual and text editor options.
Hopefully this doesn’t mean I need to rebuild all the pages I have constructed using page builder?

Again this has happened after upgrading both wordpress and site origin widgets to the latest versions.

I have tested with all plugins deactivated which makes no difference. When I switch to one of the default themes then the pagebuilder and site origin widgets appear as they should.

I am using a child them of evolve.

I had been in a dialogue regards this with the site origin guys here:

Actually, this issue doesn’t really exist. The problem is in the browser’s cache and the JS that gets stuck in it. For some reason, once you clear it SEVERAL times everything goes back to normal. That’s what worked for everybody up to this moment. If for some reason it doesn’t solve the problem in your case, please send us an email to info (at) theme4press dot com with access to your admin, so we can take a look.

Lets not to worry about wordpress update 5.6. In my opinion it will be with more features and funcionalities. Also the plugins will perform well on new update. Definitely new things bring new challenges and opportunities.
