WordPress 5.5 update Crashing Customizer Color Picker Issue

    When trying to edit any page in the customizer it will not load. Throws error: Uncaught Error is ‘Uncaught Reference Error:’ ‘wpColorPickerL1On is not defined’. Researching I found this:

    According to the bottom comment on this ticket, Materialis is one of the affected themes, with 3 affected lines. I am running WP 5.5 and would prefer not to upgrade in order to continue using Materialis.

    Can you check if you are using the latest version of the product?

    To verify this – please access WP-Admin -> Updates -> Dashboard -> Check Again and see if you have the latest versions installed.

    Ionut,

    It appears that I am using the latest version, however, it appears that my license key is invalid now (not sure why).

    Could that be preventing me from using the latest version of the theme, and therefore causing the issue?

    Nevermind. I repurchased the license and updated the Materialis Theme. That solved the issue.
