For live sites, I never use a new major release. I always wait until the next minor release for the kinks to get worked out. But that means I rely on others to find all those kinks. I just don’t want that on my live site.

That,s why i did not update WordPress to 5.1. first of all when all issues are fixed then it is better to update. i am still waiting for some response wordpress org support theme.

WP 5.1 won’t be changing. Any fixes will have a new number, so if you don’t like 5.1, wait for 5.1.1.

I didn’t say that at all. Every release has some issue, as we are all human and not perfect. Issues have been reported. If you don’t want to deal with those issues, don’t install that release. It doesn’t hurt anything to wait for the next minor release, which will fix problems in the last major release.

I have no idea what you want or how your site is setup or what problems you have or what problems you can handle. There are literally millions of people using the various versions, so maybe that says something?
