  • I guess Gutenberg is not that bad when it comes to features, the worst thing about it is causing conflicts with other things, and this IMO will improve after a couple of updates. Classic editor is awesome though!

I draft article in MS word. Once I am fully satisfied from start to end of the article, I will paste it in the classic editor, add a header, and other required things and hit publish. After updating to WordPress 5.0, my website appears to be loading fast. That is why I said WordPress 5.0 is incredible. However, it took me close to one and a half hour to figure out how to copy paste content in the new block editor. In the end, I gave up and installed the Classic editor.

I am surprised for the logic behind block editor. It appears as the developer team thinks users write content in their website editor. No that is not true. Usually, a well-written article takes at least a day in research, deciding structure, then drafting and making it final.

The classic editor is rightly set to end in 2022. Block Editor is going in Google+ way; everything is mixed up.
