• I am building a new site in construction mode. Using Virtue Premium and as of this morning updated to WordPress 4.4.2 (security release). Since the update, I cannot get the Kadence slider to be responsive. I am using the home slider in the theme options to identify the slider. Also, mobile menu not working correctly. It appears there needs to be some adjustments in order to work correctly with the new WordPress release.

  • Hey! Would you be able to post a link to your site so I can see what’s going on?

    Thanks,

Sorry for the delay in responding…

I am experiencing the same thing, where the menu disappears on my mobile site. My site is https://www.cbdriven.com and on your computer it appears fine, but once it is on a mobile device the menu at the top disappears.

    Hey CindyOTSEO,
The Kadence slider is a background slider. Meaning the size of the slider is not determined by the image. It’s determined by your height and width settings. Was it working as you wanted before? Did the height and width settings get changed? You may find that the cyclone or revolution slider work better for you seeing as you’re not using a separate slider for mobile.
Since you are using the premium theme please feel free to use the premium forums- https://www.kadencethemes.com/support-forums/forum/virtue-theme/

hempco, looks like you both need to enable your mobile menu in Appearance > Menus under Menu Settings.

Thanks for the menu advice – not sure how I missed that. I made that change and the mobile menu now appears. However, at a certain size screen, instead of sizing or changing to the mobile menu button, the last item on the menu drops to a second row. How can I fix this?

Also, I looked at the Cyclone Slider. I like the ease of use of the Kadence Slider over Revolution and I like the options on the buttons over Cyclone. Is there no way to make Kadence be responsive outside of page builder? I’m using the home page settings under theme options.

Thank you again for your help.

    Hey,
Sorry for the delay. I’m not seeing any menu items drop when I change the screen size on your site. Did you fix this already?

If you want to use the Kadence Slider on mobile and show your full images I would recommend creating a separate kadence slider for mobile and just use smaller images. Then you can enable the mobile home slider from your theme options.

No it is not fixed with permalinks trying to remove word fence in case it was blocking it or trying to do a bulk edit apply which is what I did when this happened on my home pic screen. So I need help

    Hey debm0505,
I’m sorry I only see this one post from you? What seems to be the issue?

Looking at your site I’m seeing that your slider has a range of image sizes.. That is because you have many images that are not at least the size of your slider. Is that your issue?
