WordPress 4.4 compatibility ?

  • Hi, is Zerif Lite 1.8.3.1 full compatible with 4.4 version of WP ?
    I want to be sure before upgrade…

    Hi,

    i am a bit behind, on a 4.1.8 wordpress. My zerif-lite is 1.46.

    I am reluctant to update wordpress to 4.4, afraid that there might be issues. I also am afraid to update zerif-lite, because I made zeriflite-child theme, but changed some code in the theme and would probably be lost.

    Maybe I should just backup everything, try the upadete, and if things turn out ugly, revert back to 4.1.8?

    The latest version of Zerif Lite is 1.8.3.1 and i advise you make an update.
    You could make a backup to your current website just in case.

    Update to wordpress 4.4 is ok, update to the theme changes the site in a couple of ways, which I already modified. Will have to find a way to modify correctly, so I can update timely. I do use a child theme, but not all corrections are in the child directory.
