• Just found an incompatibility issue – when using WordPress 4.1 with the Wordfence Security plugin, the Ajax Events Calendar plugin corrupts the actual date/time display for all Wordfence functionality – it appears to apply the offset from UTC a second time (WordPress does it once, then Ajax Events Calendar does it a second time).

My timezone is set in WordPress for Vancouver BC (UTC -8), but with the Ajax Events Calendar plugin activated, Wordfence logs, etc. show the time as being offset by an additional 8 hours. Currently WordPress shows UTC time is 2014-12-20 22:11:18, Local time is 2014-12-20 14:11:18, and Wordfence Scan Schedule shows Current time: Saturday 20th of December 2014 06:11:18 AM. If I deactivate the Ajax Events Calendar plugin, the time display in Wordfence is correct.

  • Old post, but I am using the calendar plugin on a couple of 4.1.1 sites and haven’t noticed any serious problems.

There is an issue trying to add calendar events from a small screen/cell phone. You can’t get to the add/cancel buttons, so the plugin isn’t responsive.
