WordPress 4.1

  • I have just installed WP 4.1 on my local windows 7 machine running xampp.
    I am getting the following error when I attempt to add a new theme.

    “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.remarpro.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in C:\public_html\wp-includes\update.php on line 295.

    *Solved*
    Add the following to wp-config:
    define(‘WP_PROXY_HOST’, ‘proxy dns name or IP address’);
    define(‘WP_PROXY_PORT’, ‘The proxy port’);
