    Hi,
I followed this very helpful post and it really helped me.
Everything is now fine…(*Wipes beads of sweat from face)

    Thanks.

    Hi David

The site appears to be up and running on version 3.9.2 so yes, the installation failed but there’s no way for me to tell why that happened.

It may be a permissions error or it may be something else, you could try checking with your hosting provider or check the error_log file on your server.

    Regards
    Stuart

OK, glad it’s working for you

Sadviser – My 4.0 install left me with quite a few blog posts that are now WSOD on the front end. Most posts are o.k. even on the front end. After asking around, I suspect my Thesis Theme which is at the highest rev. level prior to the introduction of 2.0.

If you have are using a theme, you might want to delete your theme before you convert from 3.9.2 to 4.0+. Then select a theme that is “supported”.
