WordPress 4 update has made Thesis theme comments vanish

  • Can anyone help with this?
    After i updated to WP 4.0 the comments vanished but it still says number of comments but actual comments are missing. Everything in WP is checked to allow comments. I am using Thesis 1.8. I had a web developer make this site nearly 2 years ago and I am not a member of the Thesis site to login. I am not sure what to do at this point. Can someone post the fix here or guide me to a fix?
