Similar problem in Dutch language update to 4.9
Cannot make adjustments to the theme. No menu shows up. Cannot upload media. Can only make changes to the pages. Not very happy.

It appears that you are using some plugins for those widgets and editor icons. Please make sure your theme, WP, and all plugins are up to date.

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

Hellow @SteveStern. The problem not is solved.

I have tested all the plungins. Deactivated all, and the problem persists. My theme is Optimizer WP pro. And when I had installed the basic theme of WP, I had the same problem, and had no plugin installed. Could I know what the code of the editing menus is called, in widget.php, to try and find the problem? Thank you.

    Bye.

    Hello.

The problem, is the focus of the list menu. The menu stays behind the sale. In other words, the focus of the menu stays behind instead of ahead. Which module controls the focus of the menus in WP widgets.php? …

    Thanks.

That sounds like a z-index problem.

Please provide a link to a page on your site where we can see this. Thanks.

    Hello Steve Stern(@sterndata).
Thank you for you patience. Plesee see this.

The problem exist, in any module that controling the focus of the menus float to front the window of the widget.

If you see this picture, can you see, what the float window, is behind. And the position correctly is ahead… ?? How can I modify the call function of the widget, to tell you, that sales of menus and others have to be front-end?
