    Hm, that doesn’t sound right. Perhaps a file was a missed or corrupted.

    Try downloading WordPress again and delete then replace your copies of everything except the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings. Some uploaders tend to be unreliable when overwriting files, so don’t forget to delete the original files before replacing them.

    I am also having the same issue… since the 3.9.2 automatic update, my website theme and mobile theme are broken… the JavaScript code I use to affect formatting is not loading. Seems to work on Chrome on Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit… but not on Safari for iPhone, Chrome on Windows 8.1, or IE on Windows 8.1

    I got the solution, but not everyone will like it.

    I re-installed the child theme totally. (Removed the old one, replaced it with a new one, then made the necessary changes to the CSS). This worked perfectly.
