  • most likely there was a problem in one of the files. I would get a clean version from the site here and then try again.

    Hi…bummer for sure.

Start with your plugins and make sure you don’t have a conflict with the new version of WP.

    Here’s how:

If that doesn’t help, try a manual update of the new wordpress files. Here’s how:

    Try:
    – switching to the default theme automatically by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and the wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    – running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php

Check that first link I included. Title = How to deactivate all plugins when not able to access the administrative menus?

    Here are the instructions:

How to deactivate all plugins when not able to access the administrative menus?
Sometimes it may be necessary to deactivate all plugins, but you can't access the administrative menus to do so. One of two methods are available to deactivate all plugins.

Use phpMyAdmin to deactivate all plugins.

In the table wp_options, under the option_name column (field) find the active_plugins row
    Change the option_value field to: a:0:{}
Or reset your plugins folder via FTP or the file manager provided in your host's control panel.

Via FTP or your host's file manager, navigate to the wp-contents folder (directory)
Via FTP or your host's file manager, rename the folder "plugins" to "plugins.hold"
Login to your WordPress administration menus (/wp-admin)
Via FTP or your host's file manager, rename "plugins.hold" back to "plugins"

Nothing is working properly on my site after upgrading. I dont have an add to cart option, when clicking on products it will display a 404 error and no products/page is found. Before I was able to add a product to the cart and then it would go no where. It would ask for city, state, and country for shipping.I don’t know if I am even setting up this cart correctly. I have PayPal. Could someone please help? I am a novice obviously and I can’t get this fixed on my own. I’ve tried a few ideas listed in a couple forums, to no avail! My website is listed below.I will give my admin info to someone that is a wiz at this! You help is greatly appreciated in advance.

Most of the times, it would be Themes or Plugin which wont be having support to latest WordPress releases due to which it fails to sync up with latest upgrade.

Solution: Either downgrade to earlier version or install a fresh older version with data backup.
