WordPress 3.9 Broke My Autosave

    The title says it all. This is a huge problem, because I have to reload the whole page after it freezes on the autosave (it greys out the save button so you can’t save it manually). I read that the autosave was reworked in this version. Well, I think I prefer the old version, which actually worked!

    When I refresh the page, it usually deletes the content unless it’s been saved previously. So I have to copy the document, refresh, and paste it back and then save. I miss being able to just click save!

    Does anyone know how to disable the autosave until this is fixed? Or is this is a known issue by wordpress? I’ve seen a few reports of it.
