WordPress 3.8 – Unable to use media

Hi there,

Could someone help me with an issue please? I’ve recently updated to 3.8 any everything seems fine, apart from being able to upload media. Oddly, if I upload an image and click on the edit button it does show the image but it won’t let me save it.

The uploaded image is not showing the thumbnail when viewing the library and does not show on it’s edit media page until the edit button is clicked.

I’ve tried the following fixes from other threads but without joy:

• Changing to default theme
• Disabling all plugins & resetting plugins via FTP
• Ensuring file permissions are correct (twice)
• Checked uploaded file is reaching it’s location (which it is, so it is being uploaded)

Everything was working fine up to the update to 3.8 – I can still see images which were uploaded previously but not since the upgrade.

If anyone could help it’d be greatly appreciated!
