WordPress 3.5.2 Upgrade & User Role Plugin Issue

Hi,
I have upgraded my site from WP 5.5.1 to 3.5.2 yesterday. Since the upgrade the URE (User Role Editor) is creating some sort of conflicts or crashes.
I have created a few roles for my end users (the Editorial Teams), and when they try to edit a existing ‘Author Profile’ they get the following error …

Seems there is some problem or a conflicts with the new WP update with the User Role Editor.
Note: When I login to the ADMIN account, I don’t get this problem, and can edit the Author Profiles…
Can You pls advice what the problem might be …
