hi all,

i’ve scoured many of the forums and have tried all of the suggestions in order to make my media uploader work properly again. After I installed wordpress 3.5, my images are no longer uploading in my posts or in my media library. i have done the following to try and fix the issue:
– reinstalled 3.5.1
– deactivated all plugins
– manually replaced all WordPress files except for wp-content via FTP
– switched theme to twenty twelve

nothing has worked thus far. i’ve never had an issue with uploading images in the past and now i can’t figure out how to fix this. any suggestions are greatly appreciated! thank you!

Have you tried:

– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

– re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

yes, i have done all of those things to try and fix the problem and nothing worked.

is there something else i can try?

I can see images on your site. Are your problems specific to uploading new images?

Try adding define('SCRIPT_DEBUG', true);to the bottom of your wp-config.php file (just before the require_once line).

I am having the same problem.
I tried all of your solutions.
I tested my media and cyclone slider 2 on https://www.dewebstek.be/koenroete/fotogalerij-6/ and everything works fine.
But on https://www.koenroete.be/fotogalerij/ I cannot upload files, not though Media nor through Cyclone slider… since I accepted an update…
What can I do? Thanks

Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2013/03. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
