WordPress 3.4 Bug – Page Templates

I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s vendors.

wnews, in yourtheme folder you have manY php pages like index.php single.php search.php etc… you have to open them with textedit blocknote or dreamweaver and change the first lines that are written in that way in 3 lines and not in 1line.

As stated above, this is how you should declare the Page template name:

/* Template Name: TemplateNameHere */
?>

I was having the same issue

/* Template Name: TemplateNameHere */

Worked for me as showing the templates in the page attributes dropdown section but they are not updating in the database for me (and therefore not actually changing the page template.

The Database entry is still default “_wp_page_template default “

Please help!

Simply moving the comment to its own line also worked for me. Thanks all.

I’m using Crea WP Theme and my pages content are not shown. When I click on the links, page scrolls but content is not showing ??

Please help me out from that thing ??

Why are you using an old copy of WordPress? Were you aware that your site is currently running a very real risk of being hacked. You need to upgrade WordPress asap.

@esmi – Bro, I’m using latest version of WordPress and Crea WP version 1.2.1.

Then why are you posting in a 12 month old topic about WordPress 3.4? Please post your own topic.
