WordPress 3.4 Bug?

  • WordPress 3.4 isn’t showing the “page is updated” notification above the post/page, after a successful “Update” click.

    I think it was a good feature in the previous WP versions.
    But to implement it, I think, if it shows the confirmation, but dissolves after 10 seconds, that would be very smooth and smart.

  • No one else seems to have this problem, so it’s specific to your site. Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.
