WordPress 2.5 Themes : Where are they ?

    Im looking around trying to find some themes that were built for wordpress 2.5 and i cant find any… Ive found a list of ” 2.5 compatible” themes, but im looking for more than just compatibility…

    does anyone know any themes that were released for 2.5 ?

  • What difference does it make? And what “more” than compatibility do you want from the theme? If it’s listed as “2.5 compatible,” then it works with this version of WordPress. So .. I’m not understanding the “problem” here.

    Its not a “problem” , simply a question.

    The reason why a “built for 2.5+” vs a “built for 1.5 but compatible with 2.5” is better is I want to make sure the theme takes full advantage of everything new that 2.5 has to offer.

    If it is using non-deprecated template tags, it will work. It’s that simple.

    get_avatar(); is all I’m coming up with. Is there anything else 2.5 specific?

    Not quite sure, but adding gravatars was never a problem on pre 2.5 versions. Making a function was easy, also there was heaps of pre-made plugins…

    The new 2.5 gallery thing has added a few new template tags for navigation and image display.
