wordpress 2.5 – insert image into post

  • When attempting to add an image into a post i do the following

    1. Manage Posts
    2. Edit Post
    3. Switch to HTML view
    4. Add Media > Image
    5. Upload image from computer

    Is there any straight forward way of populating this image into the post without having to add the image url via Add Media > Image after the image has been uploaded? As the image path changes on a monthly basis I’d prefer any uploaded image to be added to the post without having to specify the path.
