WordPress 2.2 CAN NOT delete post

  • PHP Version 4.4.6
    Mysql 5.0.27

    Help:

    I use Google Docs to blog my posts,but it returns “504 Gateway Time out”.but the post has been published.

    however, then I can not delete all the post.

    If i delete a post,It display the “504 Gateway Time out” again.

    I don’t know why this happend.

    It is a problem with the router. I had a similar problem. I don’t know how to fix it. I changed my router. And then the problem went away.

    I still can not find out the reason of this problem,and it’s impossible to change a new router for me.All I can do is use the wordpress’s text-editor to post.

    I’ve found out the reason!

    The plugin “Google Sitemap Generator for WordPress v2 Final” causes this problem,when I disabled this plugin, the blog turns to normal,when I enable this plugin, the “504 gateway error” will display.

    So just DISABLE the “Google Sitemap Generator for WordPress v2 Final” plugin, or use another sitemap generator plugin.

    The plugin “Google Sitemap Generator for WordPress v2 Final” causes this problem,when I disabled this plugin, the blog turns to normal,when I enable this plugin, the “504 gateway error” will display.

    I have tried every work-around for not being able to delete posts or pages until I found this post.

    Using WordPress 2.01 and disabling the Sitemap Generator plugin, worked like a champ.
