WordPress 2023 page template php ACF front end

  • I am using ACF to create a category taxonomy for my wordpress PAGE, similar to the category taxonomy in the wordpress POST

    i need to either create a php or modify php for a custom page template. But seems like 2023 is a gutenberg block editor, and i cant find the php file (from my understanding, and after i google around)

    Those php are the ACF php code, which will help me to show the front-end of the custom category i created for WordPress ” PAGE” instead of using WordPress “POST” category

    Can you advise, where can i find those php file? if there is no way, due to gutenberg editor block, will you happen to know any other way.

    Tips : i do not wish to use category offer by the POST section.

    Hi @ayambakar you can add PHP code to your site using the code snippet plugin. However, the plugin you are using to add categories to pages should be compatible with the tt3 theme. I am not sure of this, you will need to reach out to the developers to confirm the compatibility.

    Additionally, in the past, I have seen people adding functions.php to their theme files. Maybe it would be best to do this after creating a child theme to avoid losing the file in the future.
