WordPress 1.5.2 – No Admin Page Visible

I have been working to help a friend who is running an older WordPress page.

The plan is to migrate the page to a newer version of WordPress in the next few months, but in the meantime he has run into some trouble that I can not seem to figure out.

The output from his setup seems fine and all articles display correctly, however when he tries to login to his administrative panel, he sees a gray screen and the status bar states “Done”.

The database seems to be running fine and he has re-uploaded all of the software back onto his webserver via ftp. Still he can not access his admin controls.

This problem just began the other day and we have tested using IE6 and Firefox 3.
