    HiI There,

I installed wordpress a few days ago and since then customers are not able to rest there passwords from the website as the mail are nor being sent. they follow the process and says mail has been sent but nothing comes, have tested myself.

The send password reset ink is also not delivering mail. I get an alert from Wordfense saying someone has sent the mail. But nothing comes. I have sent test mals via Wordfense, and these are delivered.

I do not wish to activate 2FA for customers. If I deactivate Wordfense, alert mails are still being sent.

    Please help.

Hi @nichemimi, thanks for getting in touch.

That’s certainly odd as I wouldn’t expect emails to be blocked unless there’s a plugin involved that might be getting caught as a false-positive. When looking at your Live Traffic feed are there any blocks reported at the time(s) when emails are sent out? Try a recent test if it’s difficult to track. You can allowlist actions from here if so by expanding the entry using the “eye” icon or just clicking the table row.

Are you able to send/receive test emails from Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics > Other Tests > Send a test email from this WordPress server to an email address?

    Thanks,
    Peter.

@wfpeter , I am having the same problem. I am able to send a test email to another user in the USA, but not to users in India. The page …wp-login.php?action=lostpassword gets a 302 response.

Is there anything else I should check out?
