  • That is loaded on every page and helps us tell between a human visit and a bot or crawler. Its part of wordfence and if removed it could cause problems with the values set on the firewall options, etc As I believe it is only called on page loads, I’m not sure why this would be causing an issue for you.

    Hi,
I thought that if I disable the life traffic option, it would completely dissapear.

It is not causing problems, but it is slowing down the website a bit, that is why I was asking what to do to improve it.

Again, I’m not sure why it is slowing things down. Did you password protect r otherwise restrict access to the wp-admin folder?

I’m finding it slowing things too. I googled and found this thread so thought it appropriate to keep it together for others who search.

I ran it through the net panel in firebug and it’s taking 3.5 seconds to complete that request (slowing page loading quite a bit). 100% of the time is waiting.

    I’m seeing the same issue.

If the Live Traffic option is already disabled and the script still appears, make sure you clear the cache if you are using any caching plugins, or caches that your host provides.

If the option isn’t saving when you try to save it, you can try turning on “Disable config caching” on the Wordfence Options page.

If you are still having trouble after that, can you make a new post on the main forum page? The www.remarpro.com forum rules ask us to have a separate post for each person’s issue, and it helps us keep track of open requests too. Thanks!
