We just did an upgrade to evergreentheatre.ca site and moved the site from the dev space that was using a subdomain to the live space. Now WordFence is trying to access files from the old URL at divi.evergreentheatre.ca and will not run the firewall.
I have tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling, but it still remembers the old settings.
Is there somewhere I can edit the settings so it uses the new URL?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @bdienes,

It’s possible that the old URL is still saved within the database somewhere.

Can I have you delete the tables when you uninstall Wordfence?

    1. Go to Wordfence -> All Options
    2. Tick-off Delete Wordfence tables and data on deactivation
    3. Save Changes
    4. Deactivate, then reinstall Wordfence

It might also be that you didn’t remove extended protection before the migration and copied the wordfence-waf.php, .user.ini, php.ini, and/or .htaccess files over when you moved the site. They would have file paths in them that would most likely have changed from one server to the other. The waf code is commented so you should be able to see if it is there and the file path it points to.
