I upgraded this plugin to version 5.2.3 using the upgrade mechanism within WordPress. Subsequently, Wordfence warned me that the security.php file in my installation was different from the file distributed by www.remarpro.com for this version. I downloaded the plugin zip file directly from www.remarpro.com and examined the files myself. They are different. The file in my installation has the same last modified date and time as all of the other files for this plugin, so I do not think it was modified after I upgraded. I think the file I have is the file that was installed.

Is there an actual discrepancy between the files delivered by the two upgrade procedures or do I have a bigger problem?

    Thanks for your help.

Sometime if I made a very little change in a file I do not update the plugin version instead I update the version later when I made some more important changes.

I think that is the case here.
