    I have a CoinBase option on my WordPress site eMerges.com.

    I use a security feature on the site call WordFence.

    I have had CoinBase and Wordfence both operating fine for at least sixty days. Yet today I got this warning about CoinBase from WordFence—

    Alert generated at Monday 24th of March 2014 at 12:06:13 AM

    Warnings:

    * Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/coinbase/README.md
    * Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/coinbase/coinbase-php/README.md
    * Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/coinbase/coinbase-php/composer.json
    * Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/coinbase/coinbase-php/lib/Coinbase/ca-coinbase.crt
    * Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/coinbase/coinbase-redirect.php
    * Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/coinbase/readme.txt

    CoinBase reports: This is the first I’ve heard of this, and we don’t have any sort of connection with WordFence as far as I know. However, we have had a lot of trouble recently with scammers impersonating Coinbase e-mails and creating spoof Coinbase sites, and as a result Internet security software — spam blockers and so on — are being particularly rough on anything Coinbase-related. Might that explain this?

    Ideas anyone?
