  • Updater doesn’t work, as I’m sure you are hearing about now.

I had no difficulty – upgraded about a half-dozen sites so far.

    Finally… use of a blacklist…. THANKS!

    Yeah, it’s fixed now.

Since this update today, 4 WordPress blogs on one of my sites have stopped serving css (styles) files in browsers which do not have caches copies of my site. By contrast, 2 blogs on another of my sites (same host, different shared server) appear to be OK including when checked in browser with cleared cache.

I tried reinstalling Wordfence on the broken sites, no effect. Also tried switching to ultra-safe “themes.” No effect. I suspect this might be js script related because in one browser (Firefox) which has a big cache, and perhaps retains the original scripts, the pages do look normal.

Can you suggest anything/? Scanning with Wordfence shows no hacks.

I am getting a “Fatal error: wfWAFWordPress::runCron(): ” error after this update. It appears most frequently in the English version (we are running polylang for 2 languages), but perhaps this is due to the fact that these pages have not been cached as they are not visited as often.

I am in the process of replacing the plug-in from backup, hoping it will get my site back online.

    Full error message:
Fatal error: wfWAFWordPress::runCron(): The script tried to execute a method or access a property of an incomplete object. Please ensure that the class definition “wfWAFCronFetchBlacklistPrefixesEvent” of the object you are trying to operate on was loaded _before_ unserialize() gets called or provide a __autoload() function to load the class definition in /srv/psa04/takenbystorm.nl/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/waf/bootstrap.php on line 347
