Wordfence URL being picked up by Google crawler

It depends on whether you are referring to just a crawled URL of if those URL’s are being indexed in Google’s search results.

The URL is used by the Live Traffic tool to determine if a visiting IP address is a human or a bot and appears in the source code of site pages.

If the URL’s are being indexed in Google search results then there is an issue on your site.

The full ?wordfence_logHuman=1&hid query string URL’s should display a blank page and thus won’t be indexed by Google.

If you see your home page instead then switch to a default theme such as Twenty Nineteen. If you then see a blank page when you reload the URL then your normal theme that you use is the cause. A common cause is a theme, or modified theme, using the template_redirect hook incorrectly.

Thanks for your reply and sorry for the delay in responding to you.

It looks like an issue with the serp monitoring tool then. I have 34 posts on the site and its only this one with the Wordfence string on it. I have done a manual check of the serps and Google seems to have the correct url. The correct url is also showing within Google search console.

If you did have the issue I mentioned above then you would see Google indexing a lot of the ?wordfence_logHuman=1&hid query string URL’s and they would be seen in SERP’s if you ran the search operator below:

site:your-domain-name.com
