    @neildee250: Ok. Let us know if the dev is able to help. It is most likely something from the manual WordPress update that changed file ownership, since the permissions look ok, but the files still cannot be written. It might also be something else the host has changed recently. If the dev isn’t able to help, see if you can check the properties of the plugins folder itself and let us know what it says — most FTP clients let you do this by right-clicking and choosing “properties” (or similar) from the menu. (Also, see the link below.)

    @atimes2015: I had only heard of the 3 cases on this post, so I was trying to get more information about what might be different about these sites. I see that you got a partial answer on your post on the general forum and also found something your host could do to fix it, so I’m linking it here in case it helps anyone else:

    Just done 6 updates all ok seems to have settled down cheers.
