Wordfence update caused white screen?

  • Hi- I just logged in to a site that is hosted on a company server, and hit the button to update the Wordfence plugin. I had done nothing to modify the wordfence install yet– just had the default settings going from when I installed it a couple weeks ago. After I update, the home page became white except for the header and the other pages are still functioning.

    I remember a setting in Wordfence or database file I had to change in the past, but I can’t remember where I found the info or what I did. Because I am working directly with the server owner, I will need pretty specific info to send to him. Please let me know what I need to do get this back up and running.

    We just increased the memory on the server and the home page returned. I am concerned though that I need to do something on the plugin dashboard to prevent this from happening again. Please let me know if there’s something specific. ?? Thanks!
