Wordfence UI is not updating

    Hi,

    I noticed that on different wordpress websites I have a different wordfence user interface (even though they are all supposedly using the latest wordfence version).

    Specifically, I have noticed that on one website the rate limiting section has its own tab (compared to just being in amongst a long list of options).

    Does anybody know if this is a sign that there is something wrong with one of my websites?

  • Hi @andyzz,

    There are 2 places where the Rate Limiting options should appear:

    • Rate Limiting Rules section on the Wordfence Options page
    • Rate Limiting tab on the Wordfence Firewall page

    The tabs were introduced in the UI improvements in version 6.3.0 so could you please confirm the version for all your Wordfence instances?

    Could it just be that for some of your sites the browser is displaying a page from its cache?
