I noticed that my Wordfence scans were failing. It’s not unusual, because scans occasionally fail to complete. But after trying to start a new scan numerous times, I tried development mode, but still had no luck. However, when I paused Cloudflare on my site, the scans immediately worked.

I have no Wordfence issues on my other sites that are not using WPCSPC.

I’m not sure if you are aware of any issues or conflicts with Wordfence. It’s not listed in the third-party apps tab.

But if you have any ideas I’d be interested to know if there is a way for Wordfence to bypass the cache.

Not sure maybe Wordfence is not working behind Cloudflare or something? It’s not related to this plugin. Also if you go with Cloudflare Pro you get a thousand times better security with Web Application Firewall (WAF) just saying.

Anyways check the Cloudflare dashboard if the Cloudflare firewall is blocking the Wordfence or something like that.

P.S.: Personally I don’t use any of such security plugins as they are insanely resource intensive and make the site super heavy. I personally use the firewall that my hosting provider have or Cloudflare WAF which is mind blowing and adds no extra loads to the site.

OKay. Thanks for your thoughts. I can’t see anything unusual in the Cloudflare firewall. I’ll keep an eye on it and see what happens.
