Wordfence Scan Fails

    I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Wordfence but I keep getting the same error response when I initiate a scan:
    “Scan terminated with error: We received an error response when trying to contact the Wordfence scanning servers. The HTTP status code was [0]”.

    Could someone please suggest what I could try to get it working? I’m using the free version.

    Looks like I need to talk to my webhosts.

    Now, when I try to scan, I get this error message:
    ” Scan terminated with error: WordFence API error: Your site did not send an API key when contacting the Wordfence servers.”

    It seems an API key was not issued with the installation. How do I get one?

    Don’t worry – I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and now have an API key.
